Regent Bank is putting down new roots in Missouri, opening commercial lending offices in Kansas City and the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield. The move pushes the bank’s regional footprint to 10 markets spanning Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri, and marks its first dedicated presence in either metro area.
According to a release distributed via PR Newswire, the two offices will initially operate as loan production offices while Regent works to secure permanent branch locations in both cities. The Kansas City office sits at 6247 Brookside Boulevard, Suite 240, while the St. Louis-area office is located at 17050 Baxter Road, Suite 125, in Chesterfield, Missouri, per details published on Regent Bank’s website.
Who’s Running the New Offices
Jason Ramthun will serve as market president overseeing both the Kansas City and St. Louis offices, the bank’s announcement notes. Ramthun and his team are described as having deep relationships in both metro areas, and Ramthun said Regent aims to be the first bank called when a fast-moving deal needs a real answer.
Zach Fischer, a senior vice president and senior commercial lender, will lead commercial lending efforts specifically in Kansas City. The broader commercial lending team backing the expansion includes senior vice presidents and senior commercial lenders John Lamping, Chris Knopp and Tony Maher, along with senior credit analyst Bryce Berry and commercial loan assistant Joni Porter, the release states.
