INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – A veteran Independence police major is suing the city, claiming retaliation after testifying against the former chief.
Jackson County Circuit Court records show that Major Mike Onka, a 25-year veteran of the Independence Police Department, filed the lawsuit on Tuesday, April 28.
