Kansas City man, woman charged with drug trafficking in connection to Prospect overdoses

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man and woman are facing drug trafficking charges in connection with several overdoses in the area of the Prospect Avenue Corridor.

Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson announced Friday that 32-year-old Myron Mays and 29-year-old Danasia Miller have been charged.

Court records in Jackson County say Kansas City, Missouri, police officers saw seven individuals suffering from overdoses from an unknown substance on a pair of occasions in the same area of the Prospect Avenue Corridor…
