KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City’s streetcar line will reach the riverfront Monday, May 18, with the opening of a new extension linking the River Market to Berkley Riverfront.
Mayor Quinton Lucas is scheduled to give remarks and flip the starting switch at 11 a.m. at the Riverfront streetcar stop.
Full passenger service on the expanded route, now more than 6 miles, will begin immediately, connecting the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) campus and the Country Club Plaza to the riverfront…
