KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The current owner of the childhood home of Walt Disney in Kansas City said the homeless encampment has been removed from behind her house on Bellefontaine Avenue.
After voicing concerns about multiple encampments surrounding her home, Robert Young said the city has come out to the location and has removed the encampment.
Young said there is still plenty of trash to pick up in the alleyway behind her home, but she is grateful that the encampment is removed and she can continue doing successful tours for those who want to see the childhood home of Walt Disney.
Young is well known in the community for giving tours of the home and sharing its history with visitors…
