LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man is dead after a motorcycle collision on I-470 in Lee’s Summit, police say.
The Lee’s Summit Police Department says Edward M. Strickland, 34, was riding a motorcycle east on the NW I-470 exit ramp near Pryor Rd. when he rear-ended a truck traveling in the same direction.
Officers note that the crash happened around 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.
First responders say Strickland was rushed to an area trauma center, where he was later pronounced deceased…
