FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas — Drivers in the Houston area will face a brief but complete shutdown of a busy roadway Thursday night as crews work to remove overhead lines as part of an electric grid upgrade.
CenterPoint Energy, in coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation, announced a 15-minute closure of all eastbound and westbound main lanes and feeder roads on the Westpark Tollway at Kelsey-Seybold Lane in Fort Bend County.
The closure is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. on Thursday.
