When it comes to Disney Springs, there are so many delicious restaurants that it’s hard to count which ones are our favorites, but we can say that Wine Bar George is high up on that list.
Not only do we love the regular menu available, but we love seeing what special events often pop up during different times of the year. In this case, EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is coming up in just about a month, and Wine Bar George is joining in on the fun with their Uncorked at Wine Bar George series. It’s costly, though, with the finale alone costing over $1,800!
Uncorked at Wine Bar George is a signature event series that brings together food and wine with immersive, expert-led experiences. There are chef-led demonstrations with food & wine pairings, as well as in-depth tasting experiences. There are six different events throughout the series, and tickets are available individually for each one.
- Saturday, September 5th at 3 PM: The Mosel, a Riesling Master Class ($180)
- Saturday, September 12th at 3 PM: Sliders & Somms ($85)
- Saturday, September 19th at 3 PM: Craft Cocktails ($75)
- Saturday, October 3rd at 3 PM: Five Decades of Dunn, Howell Mountain Cabernets ($325)
- Saturday, October 17th at 3 PM: Truffles, Pasta & the Perfect Pour ($150)
- Grand Finale! Saturday, November 14th at 3 PM: The Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Experience ($1850)
We love that each of the events are different, meaning that there’s a little something for everyone. We encourage you to really look into the description for each event to make sure the offerings will be what you’re interested in. The cheaper options, such as Craft Cocktails and Sliders & Somms, will likely sell out the fastest, as they’re the most affordable. It’s important to remember though just how popular Wine Bar George is though, so if you’re interested in any of these events, we recommend grabbing your tickets soon.
Throughout the Food & Wine Festival, Wine Bar George will also be offering a Learn to Taste Wine Like a Master Sommelier class, totally separate from the Uncorked series. This is a special 90-minute event that takes place on select dates, and this one is also prone to selling out quickly. If you want to grab a ticket, there are only a few dates left at the time of writing, so act fast!
