ORLANDO, Fla. — Leaders of Orange County Public Schools are putting their first artificial intelligence policy in place for the new school year to guide students, parents and teachers on how to use the rapidly changing technology.
District leaders sent out surveys to teachers and parents on how the technology should be used, and they say they received 20,000 responses. Each school board member held a town hall meeting with students to get their input, and they refined the policy as they wrote it.
