Haines City Man Struck And Killed By Winter Haven Dump Truck Driver In Crosswalk Crash

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 64-year-old Haines City man died Tuesday morning after being struck by a dump truck in Polk County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 9:35 a.m. at the intersection of South 30th Street and Robinson Drive. State troopers reported that a 36-year-old Winter Haven man was driving the dump truck northbound on South 30th Street when he attempted to turn right onto Robinson Drive.
