Former Cornerstone Charter School softball player Olivia Nogueras, who helped the Ducks’ recent rise to prominence, is recovering from a fractured skull and brain bleed after a fight in Orlando.
Nogueras, 19, became involved in an altercation during an outing at the Knight Library club near the University of Central Florida campus last Friday night, according to her family’s attorney in a story by The Orlando Sentinel.
Altercation Under Investigation
The 2025 CCS graduate said in a video that she was at the club with a friend when a fight broke out between other patrons. Nogueras said another patron struck her during the altercation. She said she responded before being body-slammed to the floor.
Nogueras, an Orlando resident, was transported to a local hospital, where she spent three days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), per a statement from the family’s attorney, Mark NeJame. She now is recovering at home…
