Generations of Bomba music, dance allow Floridians to connect with Puerto Rican roots

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — For the thousands of families that have moved from Puerto Rico to Florida over the last several decades, many have had to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture.

To preserve Puerto Rican heritage and roots, one family is bringing Bomba music and classes to Central Florida through the Escuela de Bomba y Plena Tata Cepeda.
