KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The first restaurant outside Covenant Health Park, Knoxville’s downtown multi-use stadium that opened last year, will celebrate its grand opening this week.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday for the grand opening of Iron Forge Brewing. Located at 604 E. Jackson Avenue on the third-base side of the stadium near the Florida Street intersection, it will be the first of several restaurants set to open in the near future at the stadium.
City of Knoxville to allow open containers outside Covenant Health Park
Dubbed “Iron Forge at the Park,” it will be the second location for the local brewery that first opened in Sevierville in 2023.
The opening also comes ahead of the City of Knoxville implementing a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) around the stadium. This will allow people to take beer, wine and alcohol purchased at select restaurants outside within the designated zone…
