Knoxville Weather: Less humid and quiet weather to start the workweek

Drier air will filter in Sunday night after a few lingering showers. Pleasant weather is expected as we start the workweek.

  • Tonight: Stray showers before drier air filters in (20%). Low: 65°.
  • Monday: Lower humidity with lingering clouds. High: 81°.
  • Monday night: Unseasonably cool and quiet. Low: 60°.
  • Tuesday: Very nice day with low humidity and plenty of sunshine. High: 82°.

Rain chances will taper off from the northwest to the southeast later Sunday evening. Any lingering showers will end across southeastern sections just after midnight with clearing skies late.

The front responsible for our storm chances will push southward into Northern Georgia Sunday night into Monday, which will decrease rain chances and also lower moisture values some to start the new workweek.

Temperatures for Monday and Tuesday look a little “cooler” in the morning with lows in the lower 60s (perhaps even a few upper 50s closer to the KY border and higher elevations), followed by afternoon readings in the lower 80s each day with partly cloudy skies and a more comfortable feel…
