KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — What started as a simple haircut has grown into a network of support for people facing homelessness, financial hardship and other challenges in Knoxville.
CareCuts, a local nonprofit organization, hosted a free telehealth clinic at its Clinton Highway location, adding another resource to the list of services available through the organization.
Founder Marti Baker said many people who walk through CareCuts’ doors are experiencing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She said the organization’s mission is to help restore confidence while connecting people with resources that can help them move forward.
