Knoxville police seek driver suspected of shooting at closed businesses

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect accused of shooting and damaging multiple Knoxville businesses with gunfire.

The individual, seen on security footage driving a dark-colored Hyundai sedan, is suspected in multiple acts of vandalism where the front entrances of multiple Knoxville businesses have been damaged by gunfire. The businesses were closed when the damage occurred, according to East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.
