Maryville man sentenced to decades behind bars in deadly stabbing of step-grandfather: DA

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Maryville man will spend the next 31 years behind bars for a September 2023 stabbing that killed his step-grandfather, according to District Attorney General Ryan Desmond.

According to the Maryville Police Department, Bryan Terrence Noble stabbed John Salvati III after attacking John Salvati Jr. in a dispute. Salvati Jr., Noble’s step-grandfather, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
