Earthquake reported near Tennessee-North Carolina border

CLAY COUNTY, Tenn. (FOX Carolina) – The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake in Tennessee near the North Carolina border early Thursday.

Officials say the 2.2-magnitude quake reached a depth of 6 kilometers. It was reported near the epicenter around 12:26 a.m.
