A Lafayette neighborhood is raising concerns about overnight crime after surveillance footage captured a suspect allegedly attempting to enter both vehicles and a home during the early morning hours.
Suspect Caught On Doorbell Camera In Lafayette
According to a post shared by Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police Department, the incident happened on May 18, 2026, around 3:41 a.m. on Woodvale Avenue. Authorities say an unknown suspect was captured on a residential doorbell camera attempting to enter a vehicle before also trying to access a residence.
Police released an image of the suspect and are asking anyone who may recognize the individual to come forward.
