OPELOUSAS, La.(KLFY)– More than three years after 29-year-old Kiara Vallian was shot multiple times while sitting in her car on Elementary Lane, her mother said she is still searching for answers and justice.
Vallian was shot on Jan. 16, 2023, just a day before her 30th birthday. According to her family, she was struck six times in the shooting. She spent the next 11 days fighting for her life before dying in a hospital on Jan. 27.
Her mother, Holly Winch, said the loss continues to affect her family every day…
