(Lafayette, Louisiana) – The heat is on for just about everyone in Louisiana; however, we may get a break in the humidity levels by early next week.
For the last several days, we’ve had extreme heat warnings issued for much of the southern region due to heat indices reaching and exceeding 108 degrees, but those warnings may be lifted for at least a few days.
While the cooler fall days may still be a few months away, by early next week, “Mother Nature” may give us a taste of fall as a potential cool front pushes southward…
