St. Landry Deputy and Husband Arrested, Accused of ‘Making Crack’

OPELOUSAS, La. – A St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office corrections deputy and her husband are facing multiple felony charges after investigators say they uncovered evidence of crack cocaine manufacturing during a narcotics investigation at their Sunset home.

The arrests have also led to the deputy’s dismissal from the sheriff’s office.

St. Landry Parish Deputy And Husband Taken Into Custody

According to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, 57-year-old Mary Clark and her husband, 47-year-old Brian Clark, were arrested following a narcotics investigation conducted by the department’s Narcotics Unit.

Investigators say the search of the couple’s residence uncovered suspected cocaine, hydrocodone pills, and equipment believed to have been used to manufacture crack cocaine…
