ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (NEWS 15) — St. Martinville police are asking for the public’s help to find three men wanted in connection with a shooting that injured four people at a city park in July.
Police obtained arrest warrants for Aaron Hopper, Dvek Jones, and Devontae Francois. Hopper and Jones each face counts of attempted second-degree murder, illegal carrying of weapons, and illegal use of weapons. Francois faces counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, interfering with a law enforcement investigation, and interference with medical treatment.
Interim Police Chief Andrew Broussard described the trio as armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees them should not approach or try to apprehend them. Instead, police urge the public to contact law enforcement immediately…
