LAFAYETTE, la. (KLFY) — A 14-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl are being treated for smoke inhalation after being rescued from an apartment fire at Himbola Manor.
The children were trapped inside the building Monday evening while their mother was at work.
Firefighters with the Lafayette Fire Department rescued the children from the burning living room and transported them to Our Lady of Lourdes Burn Center. Both victims are currently unconscious and intubated as they recover from the incident…
