A Lafayette man was sentenced to eight years in federal prison after admitting to illegally possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, federal prosecutors said.
U.S. District Judge S. Maurice Hicks Jr. sentenced Thaddaeus W. Paul, 33, of Lafayette, on July 29 to 96 months in prison following his conviction on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
