LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) — Retail spaces in Lafayette are shifting toward lifestyle hubs as store closures and relocations continue to reshape the city’s retail landscape.

The former Office Depot location on West Pinhook is set to be replaced by a Planet Fitness, while a former Pizza Hut will house a locally popular restaurant. According to the National Retail Federation, shopping centers are evolving away from traditional layouts toward lifestyle-oriented hubs.
