No One Hurt as Vehicle Plows Into Lafayette House Under Construction
A 20-year-old driver lost control of her vehicle while speeding down Crockett Street in Lafayette and slammed into a home in the middle of the night. The family inside was asleep.
Russell Joseph, the homeowner, was in his bedroom when the car crossed the yard and hit directly into it. A dresser fell on him from the impact before his wife urged him to get up and get out.
Nobody should have to wake up like that.
