LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — As spring brings more outdoor activities and time on our feet, a local foot and ankle specialist offers advice on preventing injuries that can result from increased physical activity.

Dr. Noah Oliver, a foot and ankle specialist at Our Lady of Lourdes, explained that his office has seen an uptick in patients experiencing foot pain as people become more active during the spring season.

“We’re in full spring mode, and we’re seeing a lot of people getting active, doing a lot of walking, jogging, get in shape for their summer vacations. And so, we’ve seen a lot of people coming in, foot hurts here or there, a lot of plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and they’re trying to figure out what’s causing the pain,” Dr. Oliver said…
