TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the FDA investigate an outbreak of a diarrhea-causing parasite, more cases have been reported in the state of Florida.
According to data from the Florida Department of Health, there have been a total of 50 cases of cyclosporiasis, caused by Cyclospora cayetanensis, since the outbreak began in May.
