On the southwest corner of the intersection between South Holland Parkway and East Stuart Street in Bartow, a new restaurant called Flavor Nation appears to be in the works. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted for Flavor Nation by New Testament Ministries Inc.; it would open at 1105 S Holland Pkwy, Suite D.
Headed up by Dais and Nancy Abraham, New Testament Ministries Inc. is an institution “helping hungry homeless transform their life.”
“Our home missions team reaches out to the homeless living in the woods in Winter Haven, Florida. We also have a homeless outreach on the streets of Lakeland, Florida,” says the NT Ministries website. “A total of about 100 homeless who live in the woods and on the streets, we provide the Word of God with a nice hot meal that follows.”…
