Central Pennsylvania man charged after child nearly dies from drowning, police say

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A central Pennsylvania man was charged last week after a three-year-old nearly died from drowning at a Cumberland County hotel, police said Tuesday.

Online court records show, Nicholas Moyer, 43, of Myerstown, Lebanon County, was charged Tuesday, July 7, with a felony count of endangering the welfare of children.

Upper Allen Township Police were called to the hotel on April 5, a little after 11:30 a.m., for a near-fatal drowning.
