A Lancaster County volunteer fire company had a unique call Thursday night when it responded to a reported “electrical issue” at a utility pole in Providence Township.
According to a Facebook post by the Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company, firefighters were dispatched to the area of Clearfield Road and Rawlinsville Road at about 8:40 p.m. when a caller reported seeing sparks and smoke coming from a transformer on the utility pole.
