A mother accused of driving the getaway car after her teenage son opened fire in a planned ambush is still awaiting trial, while her son has now been sentenced to state prison, authorities announced on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Amari Poole, now 17, of the first block of West New Street, was sentenced by Lancaster County Judge Jeffery Conrad after pleading guilty on Sept. 23 to attempted criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, possessing a firearm as a minor, and possessing a prohibited firearm, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
