LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A chaotic weekend at a Lancaster carnival is shedding light on a potentially troubling trend after a brawl broke out near the Park City Center on Saturday.
Penn Valley Shows, which hosts the carnival at various locations across the state for a few weeks each year, said the incident over the weekend prompted them to install additional safety measures for the first time, such as fencing around the premises.
“This is a growing trend across the country that teenagers / young adults [want] to incite problems. We are a family-owned company and just want to be able to provide safe fun to the public, so yes, we decided on the fence to better control who enters our area,” said Christina Benner with Penn Valley Shows…
