Lancaster County manufacturer employee accused of stealing $154K in unauthorized purchases

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — An employee with a Lancaster County manufacturing company allegedly bought more than $150,000 worth of items for herself with the business’s credit card, charging documents filed Monday by Manor Township Police said.

Renae Poole, 50, of Wrightsville, allegedly made the unauthorized purchases from November 2024 up until February 2026 with Armstrong World Industries’ corporate credit card, police said in the criminal complaint.

The purchases totaled of $154,513.16, according to the criminal complaint. Most of the transactions were for gift certificates.

The company’s IT analyst flagged the purchases and brought them to the attention of the Compliance Manager on Feb. 3, according to police. Many of the items she bought were from “perfectgift.com,” Amazon, Sam’s Club, and Uber, police said…
