Man at center of stolen human remains case faces new burglary charge in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Ephrata man at the center of a stolen human remains case in Pennsylvania is facing a new burglary charge out of Lancaster County as the case continues.

Jonathan Gerlach, 34, and his lawyer were present at a preliminary hearing in Delaware County Friday morning but ultimately waived the hearing, according to court documents.

CBS affiliate KYW confirmed that four burglary charges related to the Mount Moriah Cemetery were dropped, but two new burglary charges were added: one from Luzerne County and another from Lancaster County…
