State Police will step up enforcement efforts over busy Memorial Day travel weekend

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer, and plenty of people are expected to hit the road.

On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission said it is expecting more than 2.1 million travelers to use the roadway from Friday to Monday.

State Police troopers be out on Pennsylvania roadways as well, helping to keep things as safe as possible…
