WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) — Police are looking for information after a hit-and-run crash left a moped rider seriously hurt.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. on July 1, Michigan State Police said in a Thursday social media post, on Howell Road near Burkley Road in Wheatfield Township.
The moped rider was driving southbound when he was hit from behind by an SUV, police say. They say he lost control of the moped, fell onto the road and then slid into a ditch. He was later brought to the hospital with severe road rash…
