LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam involving callers falsely claiming to be members of the department.
According to the sheriff’s office, officials have received reports of scam calls from someone identifying themselves as “Sgt. Tom Pennington.” Authorities said no one by that name works for the department.
