LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – The city of Lansing has been awarded a $1.2 million federal grant to plan safety and infrastructure improvements at the Pennsylvania Avenue, Cedar Street and I-96 interchange on the city’s south side.
The grant, awarded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development, or BUILD, program, will fund preliminary engineering work and a planning-level benefit-cost analysis for future roadway and intersection improvements.
