LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Severe storms have knocked down power lines and trees throughout Mid-Michigan, damaging homes and cars.
According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, an unidentified person was injured when a tree fell on a truck this afternoon in the area of Holt Road and Dobie Road. 6 News first received reports of the incident at around 3:20 p.m.
A 6 News reporter saw extensive storm damage in a neighborhood off Tower Road and Marsh Road in Haslett.
According to Meridian Township Supervisor Scott Hendrickson, downed trees damaged 10 units at the Grange Acres Housing complex. No injuries have been reported. Six residents will reportedly be displaced due to the damage.
