Six pharmaceutical companies settle generic drug price-fixing claims for $96M

LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Michigan residents may be eligible for settlement funds following claims of inflated prices on certain generic prescription medications.

Six drug manufacturers agreed to pay more than $96 million to settle claims that they conspired to artificially raise medication prices, according to the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.

Consumers who purchased specific generic drugs between May 2009 and December 2019 can check their eligibility and submit a claim online…
