Self-driving ride service Zoox starts first phase of Las Vegas airport rides

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Zoox has begun testing operations at Harry Reid International Airport, marking a new step in the company’s rollout of its autonomous ride service.

The company says that during the initial phase, only Zoox employees will be able to take rides to and from the airport while it assesses safety and performance in the high-traffic transportation hub.

Today, we’re kicking off testing at @LASairport! Rides to and from this destination are limited to Zoox employees in this initial phase, but we’re excited to invite public riders in the not-too-distant future. ✈️ pic.twitter.com/AS7IjxQCkI
