The National Weather Service at Peachtree City issued a Flood Watch at 2:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 valid for Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning for much of Georgia, including Walton, Gwinnett County, and nearby counties including Barrow, Rockdale, Newton, Hall, Jackson, and North Fulton.
