All the woman wanted was a peaceful walk through Kentucky’s stunning River Palisades. She expected a little fresh air, quiet surroundings, and nothing more.
Then, as she made her way along, something strange caught her attention. A slight flicker of movement against the cliff, followed by soft, distant cries, stopped her in her tracks.
Unsure but unable to ignore it, she moved closer for a better look. Resting on a narrow ledge almost 100 feet above the ground was a tiny furry animal, completely stranded and all alone.
