LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A letter sent to Fayette County Schools Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins on Thursday details the parameters of his paid administrative leave.
The letter, written by Board of Education Chair Tyler Murphy, says the “paid administrative leave is necessary to prevent significant disruption of the workplace and educational process.”
During the leave, Liggins is required to be available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on district business days and is not allowed on any FCPS property or FCPS sponsored event without prior authorization from Murphy.
