School board hears public frustration over district finances and superintendent’s paid leave

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A handful of public commenters used their three minutes to address their frustration with the district’s finances.

“If you do not have sincere change in leadership the same thing occurs time and time again which is the definition of insanity,” one commenter said.

Many people also made comments about the paid administrative leave of Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins, which board chair Tyler Murphy continually shut it down…
