LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A Lexington School will soon have a new principal.
Dr. Caroline Morales will take over as head of the Martin Luther King Jr. Academy starting on July 1.
District officials had high praise for Morales.
“Tireless in her pursuit of student achievement and success, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to fostering inclusive, data-driven, and supportive learning environments,” said Fayette County Public Schools Chief High School Leadership Officer Chris Salyers. “Dr. Morales’ extensive expertise in trauma-informed education, system development, and student-centered advocacy makes her the ideal leader to guide the Martin Luther King Jr. Academy community into a bright and successful next chapter.”…
