Lexington curbside waste collection schedule changes amid high temperatures, Fourth of July

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The city of Lexington will begin curbside waste collection one hour earlier from Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2, due to high temperatures.

Residential collection will begin at 4:30 a.m., and the city advised people to put out their carts the night before their collection day. Commercial services will begin at 3:30 a.m.
