Lexington hotel files requests for major expansions

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The 60-year-old Clarion Hotel in Lexington is planning a major expansion, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

The planning is in response to issues with lack of parking and space for conventions and events, the Herald-Leader says.

The Herald-Leader reports that the planned expansion would add another 14,000 square feet to the convention center, which is currently 13,000 square-foot. The plans include an additional 150 to 200 parking spaces, the Herald-Leader says…
